Founded by Rose Bilak in loving memory of Stephen Louis Bilak, the foundation honours Stephen’s legacy following his 66-day stay in the ICU. During that incredibly difficult time, his family faced over $1,000 in parking fees—a financial hardship that no family should have to endure while caring for a hospitalized loved one.

Stephen’s story inspired a mission of pure compassion: to ensure no family ever has to choose between being at a loved one's bedside and the mounting cost of hospital parking. The foundation provides complimentary hospital parking passes to patients and families in need. Starting with a focus on pediatric cancer families and expanding to others in the future, their vision is to remove the financial barriers to care, ensuring that dignity and access are part of every hospital stay.

Why This Matters to LCCTeam
Why did the LCCTeam choose to support The Parking Foundation? Because we believe in removing burdens from our neighbours during their toughest battles.

As a registered charity in Port Credit, we look for initiatives that provide direct, tangible support to our community. The Parking Foundation turns a personal tragedy into a legacy of kindness, making "parking" one less worry for families in medical crisis. By supporting Rose’s vision, we are helping ensure that our neighbours can focus entirely on what matters most: healing and family.

Join Us in Supporting This Cause
We are incredibly proud to support Rose and her team in this vital mission.
