Local businesses and individuals sponsor their team's participation in this timed multi-heat event, where teams paddle a paddle boat on a course set on the Credit River at the Royal Canadian Legion (Port Credit) Branch #82. The event also includes a BBQ lunch and dinner and awards trophies.

Why Volunteer at the "Paddle for the People" race?

In the past year, LCCT has sent 75 kids to summer camp through the Jim Tovey Kids to Camp program and provided 50 deserving children with customized computer tablets through the "Gift of Christmas" event.
